I have been working in community-based regeneration for the past 25 years.  My experience ranges from work in market towns as a regeneration partnership manager to helping community groups to improve their local environment or services.

I am currently living in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, where in 1996 I came to be the SRB-funded manager for the regeneration of Cinderford. As well as developing my project management skills in Gloucestershire (I am a Prince 2 practitioner), I have developed a programme to break cycles of deprivation and help reduce child poverty in Oxfordshire, and delivered a range of support to social enterprises around the country in association with Fresh Management Solutions.

My most recent community development work has been helping local people to secure the future of Mitcheldean library as a community co-operative, helping Forest Gate Church become a registered charity, and helping set up Forest of Dean Entrepreneurs to support local self-employment and start-up businesses.
